Maths Homework

A MyMaths activity has been set for this week and is based on our topic fractions!

Reading Homework

Every time you read this week, I want to know about it! Whether you're reading a book, instructions, a news-paper, a blog or a leaflet, any reading needs to be written as a reading entry, in your reading record book. Remember entries equal house-points and house-points equal the house treat! Aim between 3-5 entries a week. Entries will checked on Monday.

WB 25.11.24

Homework

Hopefully, you have taken your spelling books home and have shown your grown up your spelling test score from today. These spelling books are only for the weekly spelling test. Continue practising your spellings using strategies that suit you.

                                    What is happening this week?

This week we are visiting the Methodist church and are practising for our class assembly, which is next week. If you would like to bake some treats (as suggested in class worship) for the parents, then that would be appreciated. Remember though, we are a nut free school.

Finally, please ensure that for outdoor PE you are wrapped up warm. As we discovered on Friday, it is getting colder and it might be time to do PE in a wooly hat, gloves and a winter coat.

What is happening this week?

There have been a few changes to our class timetable. D&T or art will now be taught on Tuesday and history or geography will be taught on Wednesday.

Secondly, instead of starting the term with cricket we have swapped to football. For this, we have been going on the field and will continue to, even if the grass is wet. Therefore if you would like to bring a spare change of shoes into school on Friday, you can. For example, you may bring some football shoes to change into for the PE lesson or bring your school shoes in for after the PE lesson.
