Christingles

As part of our annual Advent and Christmas celebrations, every child in school will make their own Christingle. The Children’s Society have provided most of the resources we will require but children will need to bring into school a large orange.

Oranges should be brought into school on

Monday 9^th December.

On Thursday 12^th December the children will walk to All Saints’ Church for a short Christingle service lead by Rev. Joanne Thornton and Gemma from Alrewas Methodist Church. Prior to the service, they will visit our Nursery Children in School.

The Children will also bring home a small collection box. If you would like to donate to the Children’s Society, there is an option to do so online or collection boxes can be returned to school by Monday 16^th December. We will return these to a representative at All Saints’ Church who is coordinating any donations.
