Class teachers - 2025-26 and transition

Dear Parents/Carers,

I am pleased to be able to finally share which teachers will be teaching which classes next year, following a very successful round of teacher recruitment last week. The teachers are as follows:

Nursery: Mrs Knight 

Reception: Mr Minor

Year 1: Mrs Ridley

Year 2: Mrs Lewis

Year 3: Mr Bourne

Year 4: Mr Smallwood

Year 5: Mrs Haycock

Year 6: Mr Gibbs

Mr Bourne and Mr Smallwood are both experienced teachers will make a brilliant contribution to the teaching team. 

We will be holding a whole school transition morning on Tuesday 1st July from 9:30am where children will spend a morning with their new teacher. Several informal transition opportunities will also take place in school from now, including teachers having lunch with new classes, reading stories, dropping in to observe lessons, etc. (Year 6 parents, as you will be aware, the JTHS transition morning is on Wednesday 2nd July)
