End of Year Messages
Dear Parents/Carers,
As we reach the end of a very busy term in a very busy year, I would like to extend sincere thanks for your kindness and support. As a staff, we greatly value the relationships between ourselves and our families and it has been a pleasure to work with you all over the course of the year.
I would like to share a few key messages as the year comes to and end. In mid-August, I will write again to parents to re-iterate these and also share information for the upcoming year.
School Building Improvements
Excitingly, a significant renovation of Nursery and the Wraparound area is due to begin early in the holidays. This includes new ceilings, floors, doors, toilets, storage, a new layout, kitchenette areas - everything! More information and photographs will be shared later in the holidays, but we are very excited about the improvements this will bring to the early environment to our youngest pupils.
School Lunches
As you will know, we have currently been in a position to offer school lunches for £2.00 for the duration of the Summer term. In September, the price for paid school meals will return to £3.00
Menus will be put on the website ahead of term commencing. We have plans to use MCAS (My Child at School) in the early stages of next year for ordering and paying for school lunches. This will be communicated in due course with plenty of notice.
Breaktime Snacks
In September, we will no longer be offering break time snacks from the kitchen. Children are still welcome to bring their own snacks in, and closer to September, guidance will be shared on recommended snacks.
Goodbyes...
I would like to say a final good bye to our year sixes, who are leaving us today. They have been wonderful ambassadors for our school over the years, and I wish them all the very best in the next stage of their education.
I would also like to offer our very best wishes one final time to Mrs Lawler, Mr Baker and Mr Gibbs who are leaving All Saints today. We have shared our fond farewells in our assembly this morning, but I would like to re-iterate how much they will all be missed.
On a personal level, thank you to each and everyone of you who has supported us during the year. Your children are an absolute delight and we are very privileged that you entrust them into our care. I wish all our families a wonderful Summer and hope you have a fantastic Summer break.
With best wishes,
Mrs Fussell
