Harvest Donations
Last year, as a school, we held a collection of food items to support Lichfield Food Bank, which is being used by more people now than ever. As a community, our donations exceeded 200kg, which was astounding and undoubtedly made a difference to many families who are struggling in these times.
On Thursday 20th October, we are humbly asking for a similar donation as we are, of course, in the season of Harvest.
Our school doors will be open on that morning from 8:30am to 8:50am for parents and children to come in and place their voluntary donation of a tine, jar or packet of food at the front of the hall. Children will have an extra Harvest-themed assembly in the afternoon, where we will celebrate together. At the end of the day, the food will be taken to Lichfield Food Bank, where we know it will be used to support local families.
Thank you in advance for your support.
