Number Day!

Dear Parents/Carers, 

Next Friday, in school we will be celebrating Number Day and there are couple of things we will be doing to celebrate this. 

On Friday 2nd February, we would like children (if they choose) to dress in a way that celebrates number! This may be as simple as a sports shirt displaying their favourite player's number, but this is also a great chance to be creative. This is a JTMAT-wide event so we would love to share some great number day pictures with our fellow MAT schools! We know some children do not enjoy dressing up so if this is the case, they are also free to bring in an item that celebrates number or mathematics, that they might like to talk about in class or with their friends. 

In addition to this, all of next week, schools across the JTMAT will be competing in Top of the Rocks - a competition taking place on our new fun tables app, Times Tables Rock Stars. Between the hours of 7:30am-7:30pm (up to a maximum of one hour per day) work on TTRS will be logged and the number of correct answers recorded will be used to find an overall TTRS winning school in the MAT

We hope you have fun with this over the week, and we look forward this culminating in a fun celebration of number and mathematics next Friday.
