Parents' Evening this week

Dear Parents/Carers,

As you know, Parents' Evenings are taking place this week. I hope you have had a chance to read the newsletters on Latest News from last week, informing what you should expect to learn during these consultations. 

A number of you have asked this week, "should I bring my child to parents' evening?" 

Ultimately, the decision rests with you. However, on occasion, your child's teacher may have to discuss sensitive or tricky issues, and your child's presence might make this more difficult. 

It's also worth remembering that in these consultations, we expect teachers to relay honestly where your child is working in relation to National Expectations. You may or may not be comfortable with your child being part of that discussion.
