Samba Workshops 4th June

I am pleased to share that on Thursday 4th June we will be joined by Miriam Kitchener, an experienced musician and tutor for the National Youth Orchestra. 

Miriam will be running a short workshop with each class over the course of the day. The day will include an exploration into rhythm, percussive sounds and information about the music of Brazil and Western Africa, culminating in a performance of samba music from the year 6 class.

Each session will be completely interactive, creative and immersive with every child given the opportunity to play an instrument.
