Sports Day - Thanks!

Good Morning,

I just wanted to send a note of thanks for the wonderful support we saw yesterday from Parents, Carers, Family and Friends during both Sports Days. Both events were highly successful and the children were an absolute credit to you. 

We reflected in the staffroom (while Mr Tyson was nursing his sunburn!) on how the children had conducted themselves - cheering each other on, supporting those who were finding the events challenging, high-fiving... Children who are naturally more competitive were so but in a really positive way, and overall we felt extremely proud of the way the children conducted themselves during the whole event.

I also forgot to thank some important people yesterday: First of all, Mr Tyson for the organisation of the entire event, as well as the great management of everything yesterday. Secondly, the PTFA for kindly running the refreshments stall - I believe over £130 was raised! Finally, to all the staff who helped in any way to keep the event running smoothly and supervise the children.
