Stranger Danger

We have been made aware of an incident in nearby Whittington whereby a child was followed by a man in his car whilst biking home. The man then got out of his car and approached the child, at which point they were able to attract the attention of a passer-by. 

Obviously, in Alrewas, several children have permission to go home alone. Teachers are therefore going to speak to our children this week in Class Worship about Stranger Danger, and reminding them on how to stay safe and what they should do if someone makes them feel unsafe while out in public. 

Any conversations you would like to have with children along the same lines would be much appreciated.
