Support Staff Next Year

Dear Parents/Carers,

I am now able to share support staff allocations for next year. Unfortunately, as is the case with most schools, the days of each class having a TA are long gone. However, for next year I have allocated support staff to a particular phase (the phases being EYFS, KS1, LKS2, UKS2). This means each phase can use their TA more efficiently for interventions, additional teacher, and so on. Please see below to learn where Teaching Assistants will be working next year.

EYFS

Nursery: Mrs James-Dicken

Reception: Mrs Turner

PPA will be covered by Mrs Coghlan

KS1

Mrs Stanley

Mrs Stanley will cover PPA and Mr Minor's ECT time.

LKS2

Miss Beaumont (Year 3)

New TA (recruitment underway)

Mrs Haycock will cover Mrs Ridley's Leadership day. The new TA will cover Y4 PPA.

UKS2

Mrs Smith (Year 6 every morning)

Miss Dickson

Mr Gibbs' leadership and SEND time will be covered by Miss Dickson. 

Mrs Smith will cover year 5 PPA.

Mrs Smith will continue to run Listening Ear in the afternoons and Lunch Club at lunchtimes. 

I can appreciate you may well have questions relating to your child's particular needs and interventions. This week in staff meeting, we are holding "handover meetings" where all important information is passed up to the new teacher. This will allow teachers to plan how to best deploy support staff, and ensure all interventions take place.
