Transition and Strikes - IMPORTANT

Dear Parents, 

Please read the following very carefully as we have had to make some changes to our transition process due to strike action planned for 5th July.

As you know, our transition morning has been planned for 5th July as this ties in with John Taylor's year 6 transition day. However, we will have a number of staff on strike on this day.

We have therefore decided to move our school Transition morning to 4th July. (Year 6's transition to John Taylor High will go ahead as planned on 5th.)

Furthermore, on 5th July, NEU Industrial Action means that some of our classes will be closed. 

Year 1, Year 3 and Year 5 will all be closed to pupils on 5th July. 

You may also be aware that there is another strike planned for 7th July. However, this is already planned in as an INSET day therefore no changes are needed.
