Well done, year six!

I would like to extend a sincere well done to our year sixes for their hard work and excellent conduct this week, which of course has been SATs week. 

We believe strongly that although we want children to perform their best in their SATs, they should not be a source of great stress and pressure. Year six have embraced this approach with admirable resilience and positivity. 

Each morning, children have been coming in for breakfast with their classmates, which has given us all a chance to relax, have a chat and mentally prepare ourselves for the tests. I wholeheartedly congratulate every single child for they way they have conducted themselves this week - they have been an absolute credit to themselves and should be very proud.
