Dear Year 2 Parents/Carers,

Firstly, I would like to congratulate your children on their enthusiasm and maturity during transition morning today. They have identified some really sensible things they're excited about and worried about, and really stepped into their roles as "new year threes." 

I am writing to you today to share information about provision in class until 21^st July. As you know, Mrs McCarthy has been absent. To best support the children and ensure Mrs McCarthy can hand over her areas of responsibility to me and the new Assistant Heads, I have made provision for Mrs McCarthy, on her return, to work outside the classroom, while the class will be covered by Mrs Haycock (Mondays) and Mrs Smeeton/Mr Russell - two excellent supply teachers who have worked in year two in recent weeks.
