Year 4 Parents - Multiplication Check

Dear Parents, 

You may or may not be aware that in year four, children are required to take part in a Multiplication Tables Check. 

This is a short and simple exercise, completed on an iPad in June, whereby children have to answer 25 multiplication questions. 

There is no "pass" mark and your child's score will be shared with you. The results are used to direct necessary support. 

Mrs Lewis will be working hard with the children on their tables in class, and suggestions will be going home shortly on how you can support children with their tables in fun ways at home. 

Children will have opportunities to take part in practice tables checks so that the process is familiar to them when they take part in June.
