Year 6 parents - SATs Information Session

Dear Year 6 Parents,

We would like to invite you to a session this term to explain the process of SATs testing, which happens in May. Some of you will have had older children who have experienced SATs, however everyone is welcome to attend and learn about our approach to the tests. We will discuss:

> What tests the children will be taking.

> The structure of the tests - duration, etc.

> What help adults can provide children with in each test.

> What we will be doing to help your children feel prepared. 

> What secondary schools use SATs results for.

> What provision will be made if your child has additional needs.

This will take place on Thursday 26th January at 3:15pm. The session will last approximately 45 minutes. Children and parents are welcome. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
