Dear Year 6 Parents,

As you will be aware, the John Taylor open evening falls during the week in which the children are on their trip to Laches Wood. 

To allow the children to access this opportunity, we have arranged transport from Laches Wood to John Taylor and then back for the remainder of their residential. 

We have secured a suitable coach with a pick-up time of 5pm from Laches Wood. This will allow children to get to the school in time for the 6pm slot. I am aware the portal is open for booking your preferred slot. Closer to the time, we will send a permission slip to ensure we know who is attending and who will be remaining at Laches Wood. Both groups of children will be supervised by a member of school staff, and the teacher travelling on the coach will ensure you collect and return your child at the bus. Following the open evening, the children will return to Laches Wood for their final activities.
